Come along to a free taster night to get started and see if we're the right choir for you. 🙂 You can grab a spot for one of these taster nights above this section, on the Join Us page on this site.

We have 4x intakes a year: The beginning of September The beginning of November The beginning of January Around March or April

If there's no free taster spots appearing, it means we're likely in the middle of a term and not accepting new members. The best thing you can do is join the waiting list (the mailing list on our website), and we'll email you when spots are available again at the next intake.

The free taster night is a lovely opportunity for you to come along, meet the choir leader and the choir and see if we're the right choir for you. You'll come along a little early and meet the choir leader and other ladies who are doing a taster night. We'll get you assigned to a choir section (high/middle/low), and then the class starts. The regular members will arrive, and you'll learn a brand new song with the choir. Taster nights happen during the first two weeks of the term, so you'll ideally come along during the first week of the term, and start a brand new term with the choir. We allow people to come along during the second week of the term too, but after that, you've probably missed too much, so it's best to wait until the next intake.

The price varies depending on the term length - some terms are 8 weeks and others are 10 weeks. But the price is roughly €10 + VAT per class... so an 8 week term would be about €80 + VAT, and a 10 week term would be about €100 + VAT.

We get asked a lot "why can't I pay per class?". We structure each choir term to compound learning over an 8 or 10 week block. Specific songs are learned during each term and we work towards a perfomance at the end of that block. Dropping in and out of classes during a block doesn't really work as you'll get lost. The terms are structured to allow intakes for new members when we're starting a new block of songs and working towards a new goal. Of course it's okay to miss a few classes here and there during a term! Everyone gets sick or can't make it at times. We always email what was covered in class along with the homework and we provide online resources (lyrics/sheet music/recordings of the song) so that you can catch up if you were sick and missed a few classes during the block. But we don't have the choir structured in a way that you can drop in and out.

About 30 minutes every week. You'll learn and practice what we covered in class during the week along with the online resources that we provide. You'll grow to love your home practice - your family members will all know your harmony lines inside out! 😂 Some choir members have heard their kids walking around the house singing their harmony line to a song they've been practicing. It's kind of adorable actually!
